Overview
Invar Systems was formed in 2004 to address many of the issues prevelant in the supply and support of software solutions in the Warehouse and Distribution market. Invar Systems has significant private equity backing and has developed a suite of unique products including the flagship IWS product that provides a complete warehouse management and control system.

UK Management Team
John Wright
John has extensive management experience providing systems to the warehouse and distribution industry. He founded Io Systems in 1979 and worked as Managing Director until 2004. During this period Io Systems enjoyed significant growth employing over 50 people and occupying a modern office building on Cranfield Technology Park. In 1999 Io Systems merged with Cleco and he became a director of the Cleco Group of companies. The Cleco Group was purchased by FKI plc in November 2001 and the companies subsequently became FKI Logistex Limited.
Tim Wright
Tim worked as a software developer on VAX/VMS systems for scientific equipment before joining Io Systems in 1994. His work at Io Systems began with the move to AlphaServer systems and in 1999 he became responsible for the team that moved the software to a Unix platform and created the Io Systems WCS product that still forms the backbone of systems delivered today. During his time at Io Systems and FKI Logistex, Tim worked on the development, installation and support of systems for many clients, including Mars, Tibbett and Britten, Littlewoods, Chivas Glenlivet, Inditex Zara and Foot Locker.
Matthew Wright
Matthew joined Io Systems in 1995 and worked as a software developer on a number of major projects. In 2000 he joined the WCS product team and became a key resource in implementing and customising the product for a number of clients. He worked on the development, installation and support of systems for clients including United Biscuits, Exel Logistics, Best Foods, Guinness, Tetra Pak, LMG and JCB.
US Management Team
Ken Matson
Ken Matson has served in a variety of engineering, management, and senior executive positions since entering the material handling industry in 1981. His focus is on understanding the needs of customers and markets and providing solutions to those needs. In 1998, Ken was the founding partner of the joint venture to bring the Cleco and Io Systems technology to the North American marketplace. After the Cleco Group was acquired by FKI, Ken was responsible for systems integration, solutions development, warehouse control systems, and AS/RS business.
Tim Justice
Tim Justice has over 25 years experience in providing automation control systems, primarily focusing on design and implementation of supervisory level controls. In 2000, Tim opened the Io Systems US affiliate (in partnership with Cleco and Io Systems UK) and implemented the UK developed WCS product in over a dozen high-profile sites in North America including Fred Meyer (division of Kroger), Tyson, QVC and Wal-mart.
